GuardianMPS is delighted to announce the immediate worldwide release of the latest version of its most advanced application and service – GuardianMPS on Android.

Mobile workers need to be protected – on whichever device they choose to use. With the increased adoption of ‘BYOD’ (Bring Your Own Device) strategies within organizations, GuardianMPS has further extended its longstanding approach to deliver the service on the broadest possible range of devices.

Our highly experienced in-house development team (something which in itself sets us apart from many other suppliers in this sector) have used the open architecture approach within Android to create this optimized front end to the GuardianMPS service on Android devices – both phones and tablets. By combining our extensive development skills with the open architecture of Android we have now created the highest specification version of the GuardianMPS service – and again moved the industry standard upward.

The App is now available directly from GuardianMPS for download and enables an Android user to take advantage of the full capabilities of GuardianMPS on their device. The Android front-end links seamlessly into the full suite of GuardianMPS services as part of an organizational rollout.

The first iteration of the GuardianMPS Android App won the highest honor in the UK Mobile Working market in mid 2013 when it was awarded the ‘IFSEC Lone Worker Product of the Year’. A large number of early adopter customers have since gone live with the product and we are now delighted to announce volume availability worldwide of the latest version.

Even where BYOD is not an official strategy it is widely recognized that Mobile Workers often have their own phone as well as their ‘allocated’ Mobile Worker device. GuardianMPS allows each user to access the service from two devices – a unique capability. This means that the GuardianMPS solution can be used on either device – transparently and interchangeably. This is a substantial advantage for the user and the organization. For example, where network signal is poor the alternate device and network may well have better service. Employees are also protected even when not carrying their official device.

GuardianMPS now supports far and away the broadest range of devices on the market – and supports them all in-house. We are delighted to further extend the capability on Android devices within our portfolio!
